Hey Everyone! It's been a while since I've blogged, but I'm back!

I have still been eating out and exploring Vancouver, which I'm sure you've seen on Instagram stories. Sarah and I have compiled a list, and I've made it a personal goal to try places I've never tried before. We ventured out to North Vancouver, which is one of my favorite areas in Vancouver. It's full of fresh trees, water views and amazing shopping & food.

A couple of weeks ago, we made our way out there on a Saturday morning and tried out Lift. Lift is a few blocks up from the Lonsdale Quay, and surrounded by quaint little cafes and shops. The atmosphere is woodsy, calm and very "Vancouver". Our first time there was amazing, we had to go back! - a week later.

Our first visit included their delicious peach French toast, vanilla lattes and a breakfast bowl for Sarah. I am not lying when I say - this was the BEST french toast I've had! It was fresh, soft and eggy.

On our second visit, I was dying to try the lemon Ricotta pancakes, and those did not disappoint! They were the perfect amount of sweetness, with a little kick from the lemon (and poppyseed). Sarah had the eggs Benedict, which is made on a potato patty instead of the classic english muffin. I had a bite of that, and was hooked! - I'll have to try it for myself on my next visit.

Lift has got to be one of my favorite cafes and breakfast spots in Vancouver. Their dishes are made of locally sourced and fresh ingredients. If you're ever in North Van - check them out, but make sure to get there early as there's usually quite the line up; but that's all the more reason to take a walk to the Quay and check out the stunning view of the city!
