The greatest platter you'll ever meet // La Foret - Burnaby

Located on a cute little side street near Metrotown, La foret is inside a refurbished industrial warehouse. The layout is open, inviting and bright; and in my opinion, the perfect setting for a beautiful Instagram picture.

This was my second time visiting La Foret, my first was months ago, and the second was last week; to celebrate my sister's birthday. I ordered the exact same platter both times; The waffle platter. It comes complete with waffles, bacon, eggs, potatoes and a fresh side of salad. The waffles are perfectly made; being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. On top of that, they serve an amazing local coffee roaster, Timbertrain. It was probably one of the best Vanilla Lattes I've had.

If you're ever in Metrotown, it's a short walk from the mall and totally worth it. They've done an amazing job on presentation, taste and service!
