Amanda and I took a trip to Abbotsford this weekend and it was a blast! We got up real early, and arrived at the tulip festival just before 9am, which was perfect. There was barely anybody there, so we were able to enjoy it all, with nobody around. With rows and rows of tulips, it was sure a site to see! The festival had some amazing volunteers, who offered to take photos for us, and great service! On the way out, I grabbed a bundle of tulips for $5, and now I have a beautiful reminder of a good day.

We also decided to head to High Street mall, which is always great ;), and then we headed to downtown Abbotsford to Bow & Stern (a recommendation from a friend). The interior of the place had a great nautical aesthetic, along with a ton of rose gold accents, which is what I'm all about.

They're known for their oysters and fish and chips, and let me just say, they lived up to the hype. Amanda got fish and chips, and I had a yummy provolone Mac and cheese (which was probably the 2nd best in restaurant mac and cheeses ;). I also had 3 shucks of Oysters, which were on special during their happy hour. $1.50 each, and they were delish! I will definitely be heading back to Bow & Stern sometime soon!
